New Security Lock Pre-Production
May 21st, 2022 – Altinay ModCenter, a member of RMA Group, has been conducting pre-production training and testing of a new vehicle security lock, in conjunction with Ford Otosan and TVL Security, a leading UK based vehicle security supplier.
Security Lock, is being developed as a feature option on the new Ford Transit range being produced by Ford Otosan.
Representatives of TVL have been working with RMA Automotive technicians at the Altinay ModCenter for the pre-production stage. As with any new fitment, pre-production trials are necessary to perfect the optimum installation process and to allocate the required resources and training to this fitment.
The Security Lock option is expected to go into mass production during June 2022. This option is expected to be installed on 70,000 Ford Transit units per year.
